I decided to get a little more proactive with my job search. I applied with United Way to volunteer with Planned Parenthood to work with their databases. The description said no experience necessary, and willing to train. Which means my current experience will count for something, and I will get better experience with databases I can put on my resume. I haven't heard back from them yet, but sounds awesome. And Planned Parenthood is an organization I can get behind. I have a feeling a criminal background check will be required. Which I can pass. :P I also called the temp agencies and got the annoyed sounding "don't call us, we'll call you" response. whatever. I am 2 hours away from grabbing a Taco Bell application.
So today - plan is to grab my stuff and head up to house/pet sit, then start working out One Tiny Thing. I am starting over with it, knowing now what I didn't know then.
