So, now that the last one is done I am itching for a new one to work on. I can only hope that the more I do this the better it will get. And now I have to talk about my haul. And wish for more paychecks.....
I am fortunate enough to have a part time job within walking distance from my home. Between my work and home is a small locally owned toy and hobby shop. Usually things there are so expensive. Well, for some reason the other day I was drawn in there, and I noticed that their dollhouse miniatures, at least some of them, are small enough to work with my little guys. I had one in my pocket, so I looked through their cabinet. And guess what? Held over SALE! Score! So I grabbed a few things.....

I had one in my pocket, so I looked through their cabinet. And guess what? Held over SALE! Score! So I grabbed a few things.....
Not a great picture. But what I ended up with is 2 full sets of silverware, 4 table settings, a serving plate, 2 goblets, 2 wine bottles and 12 mini dice. All for $8. And they aren't plastic. They are metal. Well, except the wine bottles and dice. Those are plastic. But the plates, bowls, goblets, and silverware are metal. And if I don't care if they use the wrong fork or spoon I can get 4 out of that. This is exciting. I need to rebuild the couch, build a table and chairs, and some other furniture. I have modeling clay so I can make food. Hmm...I wonder if I can make loaves of bread that small. Oooo! I can even do a picnic thing. OK....so now as I build furniture I should decide on a story line. so guess what I am doing this weekend? :)
