Soooo...yeah....no update really. In my defense, I have been applying for jobs and actually getting responses. I have an interview today. And another one on Thursday. I spent this weekend brushing up. Cause while you are working in it you don't need to know what LDAP stands for, they ask those kinds of uestions in a tech interview and for some reason I keep getting blindsided. (It stands for Lightweight Directory Activity Protocol). I intend to work on it tomorrow. Or Weds, depends. I still ahve to go in and get my ID renewed, cause it expired Thursdday. Sidenote, you have a year to renew a license or ID in Oregon state before you have to put in a new application. It is not considered non valid yet. That is good. Not that I expect other people to go by that rule when using it for ID, but there ya go.
I am currently sitting in a Peet's killing time until my interview. I should be working on a song right now. However all the tables are taken, and I am sitting up at the counter, which is hella uncomfortable. I also do not have my uke with me. I generally carry it around just about everywhere, but felt it may be over the top to bring it in to an interview. I need a collapsable travel uke that will fit in my bag. That would be awesome. There is a place onlline where they sell modular guitars. You can pull em apart and store em in a small space, then put em back together to play em without unstringing em. Pretty cool. I need one of those in uke. Though if I remember correctly it was electric, so you may not be able to play it without also lugging around an amp.
