A lot has heppened. And yet, not enough. I have not started on working on the Hollow Knight cosplay. I have starte dthe Monk cosplay. All I have done is the dress.
Ihave decided to update from my iPad, as it has been so long and I am away from my regular computer. That means this update may be wierd or unorganized. Sorry. Iw ll fix it when I get home.
I am still working on Talleg’s breastplate. I finished covering the top part with 2mm foam. I need to finish the kelp. While airburshing the plastic kelp with black mini primer, my airbrush failed. It is a lightweight thing I have been using constantly. I am nt surprised it is not defunct. So I went onto Amazon and found a deal with a new compressor and 3 air brushes for $65. I am gad I grabbed it when I did, cause that deal is now up to $109 fo rthe same compressor and same 3 air brushes. I need to do a few more then rub them down with the gilder’s wax.
Now for the photo dump.
This one is a gravity feed dual action .03mm airbruash. The feeder cup is twice as big and has a cap on it. Makes it easier to keep from dumping all my paint. Cause I am good at doing that. The new compressor. It is sooo much nicer. It has an auto turn off feature. I can control the pressure. So sweet. | This one is a single action syphon feed air brush. The cap to the right goes on a can of compressed air. Supposedly it is supposed to work with a regular compressor. However it will require an adapter to fit the hose for my compressor. For comparison this is the old air brush setup. No control, just an on/off button. Flimsy rubber hose. |
